And so many of them need multi-sensory approaches to decoding unfamiliar words.
A training tool that I learned about at my OG training a few years ago is “Pound the Word.” It’s such a great exercise because it offers a fun, multi-sensory strategy to help students decode words. It provides students with the chance to see it, hear it, and feel it, which you know I love!
